My new toy

No update on the elephants this morning for the simple reason that yesterday I didn't pick up a pencil! That was because my new camera arrived and I spent each spare moment having a little play and getting to know it's basic functions. I think I'm going to be very pleased with it. Today it's raining so I won't get a chance to go out and experiment, so maybe by this evening the elephants will have made some progress! Meanwhile here's an earlier picture for you. This is Rosie a dear little dog that lives near me.

I wonder what kind of camera you got?? I really like the new elephant picture and the little doggie picture too. I have marked you as a favorite and listed you on my sidebar. You site is so different from all the other blog sites - it gives my mind a break and it is creative and relaxing over here. I will visit often.

My new camera is a Sony Cybershot DSC-H7, it's one of their new models and has a 15x optical zoom. I'm hoping for some better pics of wildlife now. (vbg)

Hi Karen - I went over to Flickr and was stunned by your photos - they are brilliant.

I also like the horse and love the cat - the eyes are perfect. I must say I am really happy I found your site.

Thanks for the compliments! However I wouldn't describe my photos as brilliant - far from it - though I am hoping for better ones with the new camera, although judging by yesterday afternoons efforts they will be sometime coming. I took forty+ photos and only got 3 worth posting. That's what happens when I take the camera off it's auto setting! LOL
