Today is a sad day, this afternoon we had to have our sweet Semele put to sleep. A sweeter natured dog you could not find, she was my husband's devoted companion from the day we got her, aged nearly three years.

Oh no, I am so, so sorry. I've had to make the decision too and have lost three other dogs who died naturally. No words from me will make you feel any better I know, just sending you my very deepest sympathies.

So sorry to hear about Semele - she looked lovely. I had to go through the same thing a few years ago.
